Built for jewelers

Grams beside cash, roles respected

Stock reports show gross and net grams by metal and karat; supplier and customer balances show gold per metal and never add grams of gold to grams of silver. Profit is honest about what it can know: it counts wastage, stones and set cost prices, not a guess at metal margin.

Cost columns are for owners, managers see their own store, and salespeople see their own sales.

  • Date presets and custom ranges, by business date
  • Filter by store, or the whole business
  • CSV export on every report
  • Print layouts and printable statements
  • Cost and profit only for owners

Questions

Reports FAQ

What reports does jewelry POS software need?

At minimum: daily sales and cash, stock on hand by metal and karat, customer dues by age, supplier balances, tax by bucket and profit. Smart Jewelry POS includes 39 ready-made reports covering sales, profit and metal, stock, customers, suppliers and consignment, cash and bank, and tax.

Can I export reports to Excel?

Every report can be downloaded as a CSV file that opens in Excel, and most have a print layout.

Can reports be emailed to me?

Yes. Ten daily and weekly digests can be emailed automatically, including daily sales and cash position and weekly customer aging. Empty days send nothing.

Can staff see profit and cost figures?

No. Reports follow roles: cost and profit figures are for owners, managers see their own store, and salespeople see only their own sales figures where a report allows it.

How is profit calculated?

The Profit & Loss report counts wastage charged, profit on priced stones and, for pieces with a set cost price, sale minus cost, then subtracts your expenses. It does not claim profit on the metal itself, because its true cost depends on the rate you bought at.
